Mad Maz Questions

  1. If the world were ending and you had to watch one final movie, what movie would you watch?

This is the End. Might as well go out with an ironic laugh.

2. Who is the actor/actress that you respect most and why?

Leo because he can take no for an answer. Hopefully that changes tomorrow though.

3. What is your favorite book of all time?

The Count of Monte Cristo. Best novel of all time.

4.What is your favorite holiday movie to watch?

It’s a Wonderful Life

5.Growing up, what cartoon did you look forward to watching every week or day?

Avatar: The Last Airbender! But everything changed when M. Night Shymalan attacked.

6. What movie universe (city, place, town, world etc) would you choose to live in forever if you could?

Star Wars. I would kill just to have a lightsaber duel just once.

7. What is your most anticipated movie of 2016?

Suicide squad is looking pretty awesome right now. Only time will tell if Jared Leto has the chops for it…

8. Name 1 movie and/or book that you would destroy from existence.

Twilight. Deal with it. 😉

9. What was your favorite school lunch growing up (or ‘cold lunch’ if you brought one from home)?

10. What is your favorite decade for film and why?

Late 80s-90s because grungy premises learned they could be fun too like Fight Club or Taxi Driver.

11. What do you hope to achieve with your website or blog?

To make great content for great readers like yourself!

Andres Guy Questions

(To avoid being repetitive I am going to skip questions already asked by Mad Maz)

1. What films in 2016 are you looking forward to?

2. Favorite movie of 2015?

Star Wars:The Force Awakens. In J.J. I trust.

3. What are some of the films of the last decade that you consider likely timeless classics?

Star Wars again, Guardians of the Galaxy, August Rush, Oceans 11, Lord of the Rings Trilogy

4. What is a Biopic you wish existed?

I’m not much of a bio pic guy because the best material came from the people they are based on. That being said, I did really enjoy Ray with Jamie Foxx

5. Favorite fictional character?

6. What is the first movie you saw in theaters?

Mom told me she brought me to see Jurassic park when it was out. Even though I wasn;t a year old I still count it!

7. Which films did you enjoy more than the book/series?

Much as I hate to say it, I enjoyed the original Lord of the Rings trilogy of films over the books. Sorry Tolkien.

8. What is a novel or series you’d potentially enjoy seeing become a film?

The Pendragon series by D.J. Machale has yet to be adapted and I cannot fathom as to why. Great characters matched with a fantastic story deserve to grace the silver screen.

9. Have we become oversaturated with superhero/comic book movies now?

Yes and no. I think that some of the films are becoming carbon copies or simple cash grabs (mostly from the DC side) but at the same time there is a load of potential for these characters to interact and create a larger universe. That’s why I am so excited for things like Batman V. Superman and the Avengers because the somewhat underwhelming parts make a greater whole.

10. What is your favorite indie-film?

Ex Machina was crazy good.

11. Are there any places you hope to travel to?

Hopefully the greek Islands one day. Or White Castle. Whichever comes first

Thanks so much for the nomination guys! Keep on being awesome!
